AMHERST, MA. – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has released its Cross Country All-Academic teams and athletes for the 2025 season, and seven Mammoths, as well as the team as a whole, were recognized. This year's honorees are first-year

Harrison Talcott.
To qualify for All-Academic Distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
The team also garnered an All-Academic selection, with their dedication in the classroom earning them a 3.65 cumulative GPA. To qualify for All-Academic Distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.10 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
Amherst finished the 2025 season with a 3rd place finish at NESCACs, 5th place result at NCAA Mideast Regionals and qualified for the NCAA Championships as a team. They finished 11th nationally at the race in Spartansburg, S.C.
