Amherst earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors, 27 Mammoths named All-Academic Athletes

NEW ORLEANS — The Amherst College track and field teams were each named an All-Academic team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and 27 Mammoths were honored individually as All-Academic Athletes.

Amherst's men's and women's teams each won the All-Academic Team recognition for earning a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.1 as a team. The women's team posted a team GPA of 3.712 and the men's team posted a GPA of 3.665. Individuals were honored as All-Academic Athletes by posting at least a 3.30 cumulative GPA and finishing among the top 50 in Division III in individual events or top 35 in relays.
