ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Ben Davis of the Amherst College men's track and field team earned his second All-America title at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships at the Golisano Training Center hosted by Nazareth University and Rochester NY Sports Commission.

Between Davis' performance in the 800m and the All-America distance medley relay finish, the Mammoths tied for 20th out of 65 scoring teams. Wisconsin La Crosse won their second straight championship and 20th NCAA team title. 

Davis delivered a flat track personal best time of 1:52.23 in the 800m, finishing fifth in the nation. The junior earns All-America honors for placing among the top eight in the country and was the sole NESCAC athlete to qualify for the 800m.  

This concludes the indoor track and field season Davis and the Mammoths as they now shift their focus to the outdoor season, which begins March 22 at the Swanson Spring Classic hosted by Wesleyan University.
