SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Junior
Isabella Lozier won the 800m, leading the Amherst College women's track and field team to win the Triangle Classic hosted by Springfield College on Saturday.
The Mammoths finished the day totaling 15 points while Roberts Wesleyan posted 10 and Coast Guard (8), WPI (5) and Wesleyan (1) rounded out the field.
Amherst will resume competition at the New England Division III Indoor Championships hosted at the TRACK at New Balance on Friday, February 28 and Saturday, March 1.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS:
* In the 60m hurdle prelims, senior
Eliza Cardwell placed second overall posting a time of 8.95 while junior
Myeh Medina finished in third in 9.24, advancing to the finals. In the finals, Cardwell finished second overall in 8.95 while Medina placed third in 9.20.

Isabella Lozier finished third in the mile, crossing the line in 5:23.89 before winning the 800m registering a time of 2:24.52.
* First-year
Madison Vant placed third in the pentathlon, totaling a score of 2832.
