MEDFORD, Mass. -- The Mammoths placed first through fifth in the 1000m led by sophomore
Jacob Connolly as the Amherst College men's track and field team competed at the Tufts Invitational on Saturday.
Amherst will resume competition at the Triangle Classic on Saturday, February 22 at 10:30 a.m.
HIGHLIGHTS:

Harrison Dow placed third in the 5000m, recording a time of 15:03.72.
* In the 60m hurdle prelims, first-year
Keason Ky finished second overall posting a time of 8.56 seconds while junior
Noah Kanahele Harris placed fourth in 8.60 seconds. In the 60m hurdle finals, Ky finished third in 8.50.
* The Mammoths went 1-2-3-4-5 in the 1000m as Connolly claimed the victory with a personal record of 2:32.72, while junior
Aidan Gemme (2:35.45), sophomore
Harrison Talcott (2:35.48), senior
Gent Malushaga (2:35.77), and first-year
Finn O'Hara (2:36.74) finished second through fifth, respectively.
