GAME HIGHLIGHTS
  • Amherst's first goal came off a defensive clear for Reynolds to skate after along the right boards, where she sent a centering pass behind the net. Alyssa Xu collected it and fired a shot, and off the rebound, Flynn backhanded it into the net with 14:08 left in the second period.
  • At 15:34 into the second period, Reynolds ripped a shot that was saved by the Polar Bear's goaltender, Sarah Peterson. Amherst's Gretchen Dann captured the rebound and carried the puck into the left corner, where Xu collected it behind the net. Skating to her right, Xu pivoted back and tucked the puck in from behind, sealing the goal.
  • Amherst's Xu dished the puck off to Reynolds in the left face-off circle for her to send the puck into Bowdoin's empty net. The puck just slipped by the Polar Bear's defense, giving Reynolds the game's final goal with 9.1 seconds remaining of regulation.
