AMHERST, MA. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) had released its 2025 Women's Soccer Academic All-District teams and six Mammoths players are included. They are senior defender

Kate Quigley, junior defender
Sofia Preuss, sophomore forward
Caroline Coletti, and sophomore defender
Mekhala Costello.
Formerly known as the College Sports Information Directors of America (COSIDA), the CSC divides the NCAA institutions into nine geographic districts, with Amherst being located in District 1. In order to earn Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must have played in at least 90 percent of their team's contests -- or started in 65 percent of them – during the recently completed season and have maintained at least a 3.5 undergraduate cumulative GPA.
Johnson, a sexuality, women, and gender studies and Asian languages and civilizations double major, played an astounding 1543 minutes this season, including all 90 minutes in all but 2 games, and contributed an assist against Bates on Sept. 27. She was also named First Team All-NESCAC, USC First Team All-Region, and USC Second Team All-American.
Ingemi, a neuroscience and philosophy double major, finished the season with four goals and one assist this season, including two game-winners. She was also selected to the All-NESCAC Second team for the first time in her career.
Quigley, a math major, finished another stellar season as one of the Mammoths best aerial threats and attacking out of her outside back spot, logging a goal and 2 assists this season.
Fellow math major Preuss took a huge step forward in 2025, earning key minutes on the Mammoth back line and scoring her first career goal, a game-winner, against Bowdoin on Oct. 25.
Coletti, a political science and economics major, followed up a superb freshman season with another solid year, putting up 2 goals and 4 assists on the year.
Costello, a political science and architectural studies double major, anchored the center of the Mammoths' defense all year, playing 90 minutes in 11 games and scoring her first career goal in the Mammoths' Oct. 28 win over Trinity.
Amherst finished the 2025 season with a 11-5-2 overall record, earned a top-4 seed in the NESCAC Tournament, and made NESCAC Quarterfinal and NCAA Round of 32 appearances.
