TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Sophomore
Harrison Dow paced the Mammoths as the Amherst College men's cross country team finished 20th in the nation at the NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
This is the second consecutive season the Mammoths have finished in the top 20 at the national championship meet. Wisconsin-La Crosse won their fourth national championship with 77 points after finishing as the runner up at last year's championship meet. Wartburg finished as the runner up with 173 points. Wisconsin-Whitewater's Christian Patzka won the individual championship, edging the runner up by 2.1 seconds and completing the 8K course in 24:01.6.
