Arissa Grace McGowan each earned All-NEICAAA honors in the 100m hurdles, highlighting Saturday's action for the Amherst College women's track and field team on the final day of the two-day NEICAAA Championships on Saturday at Northeastern University's Solomon Track.
Cardwell finished third in 14.30 seconds and McGowan, the only first-year in the final, was seventh in 14.96 seconds. Each earned All-NEICAAA recognition, awarded to the top eight finishers in each event.
Amherst's hurdlers earned the Mammoths eight points in the team standings, placing them in a tie for 30th out of 54 teams from all three NCAA divisions with Division I Rhode Island topping the leaderboard with 92 points.
The next opportunity for the Mammoths to post qualifying marks for the NCAA Championships comes on Wednesday (May 17), when Amherst will take part in the Williams Final Qualifier at 5 p.m.
