PHILADELPHIA – The Amherst College men's squash team wrapped up competition at the U.S. Intercollegiate Doubles Championship on Saturday with two doubles pairs bowing out in the round of 16 at the Specter US Squash Center.
After a win in the opening round yesterday, seniors
Rohil Bathija and
Nate Mossé fell in three games to Millen Randall and Henry Sparkman of Navy, 11-4, 11-2, 11-5. Senior
Robinson Armour and sophomore
Abhi Gupta reached the round of 16 after a default by their first-round opponents and fell to Tate and Tobey Suratt of Hamilton in three games, 11-8, 11-5, 11-7.
The individual championships conclude the season for the Mammoths, who captured the Summers Cup as champions of the CSA C Division to finish the season ranked 17th in the nation.
