#19 Amherst topples #32 Conn, 8-1

AMHERST, Mass. — On Saturday afternoon, the #18 Amherst College men's squash team won their second consecutive game versus the #32 Connecticut College Camels (who are now 3-11) with a score of 8-1 on the Davenport Squash Courts on Senior Day.

Amherst's record improves to 10-5 for the season. Up next: Amherst's game versus Conn concludes their regular season games versus NESCAC opponents in the 2022-23 regular season. They will next take on the #28 Brown University Bears (who are 8-9) on Sunday at 12pm on the Davenport Squash Courts.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Amherst won 7 of the nine matches in straight sets
  • Conn's only win came at the #2 spot with Tyler Maguire beating sophomore Abhimanyu Gupta 3-0 at the #2 spot
  • Amherst shuffled up their lineup to give the opportunity for some Mammoths to secure their first wins of the season or even their collegiate squash career
