TEMPE, Ariz. – The Amherst College men's tennis team was named an All-Academic Team by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) and seven Mammoths were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.

All-Academic Team honors are awarded to teams that maintain a team grade point average of 3.2, while student-athletes with a GPA of at least 3.5 are named ITA Scholar Athletes.

The Mammoths honored as ITA Scholar Athletes are:
• Sujit Chepuri '25 from Minneapolis
• Kobe Ellenbogen '25 from Ridgewood, New Jersey
• Harris Foulkes '22, an economics major from Belmont, Massachusetts
• Ed Opie '25 from Chippenham, England
• Zach Ostrow '23, an economics and statistics double major from Menlo Park, California
• Shaw Rhinelander '23, a political science major from Belmont, Massachusetts
• Willie Turchetta '22, a computer science and mathematics double major from Pound Ridge, New York

Under the direction of Head Coach Todd Doebler, the Mammoths posted their 17th consecutive winning season in 2021-22 with an 11-8 record and a 6-4 mark in NESCAC play.
