LEWISTON, Me. – The Amherst College men's tennis team traveled to Lewiston, Maine, to take on the Bates College Bobcats at the Wallach Tennis Center, on Saturday. The match began at 10 am.
The Mammoths began by earning a 3-0 lead after the doubles. Wins were comfortable at the #2 and #3 spots, while
Sujit Chepuri '25 and
Damien Ruparel '22 fought back from a 7-4 deficit, and saving match points, to win 8-7(7). Amherst then brought this momentum into the singles and won all 6 of the singles matches in straight sets.

Amherst next travel straight from Lewiston, Maine, to Medford, Massachusetts, to take on the #3 Tufts University Jumbos.
