The Amherst College women's track and field team kicked off a busy weekend with Mammoths in action at three different meets on Friday. Most of the team is at Connecticut College for the Silfen Invitational while the heptathletes are competing at the Williams Invitational and junior
Sophia Wolmer and first-year
Sidnie Kulik traveled to Princeton to compete in the 5000m at the Larry Ellis Invitational.
Friday's action at Connecticut College included field events and elite distance races in which additional heats will run on Saturday and results from both days will be combined. The fastest heats in those events ran on Friday so the top times are not expected to be challenged. The heptathlon at Williams is a multi-day event that concludes tomorrow.
Saturday's action begins at 9 a.m. at Connecticut College and 11 a.m. at Williams.
