WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Amherst College track and field teams wrapped up the indoor season with three Mammoths in action on the final day of the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships on Saturday at the JDL Fast Track.
First-year
Sidnie Kulik finished 12th in the women's 3000m run with a time of 9:58.10.
Junior
Jack Trent finished in 12th place in the heptathlon in his NCAA Championship debut with a personal-best score of 4663 points, a performance that included a personal-best mark of 3.70m in the pole vault.
First-year
Julia Zacher tied for 13th in the women's high jump, clearing 1.61m.
Loras won the women's team championship while WashU and Wisconsin–Eau Claire tied for the men's title and were crowned co-champions.
The Mammoths now turn their attention to the outdoor season, which begins on Sunday, April 3, with a meet at Massachusetts.
