WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Amherst College track and field teams were in action for the first day of the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships on Friday at the JDL Fast Track.
Junior
Jack Trent sits in 12th place after four of seven events in the heptathlon, including a personal-best time of 7.36 in the 60m dash. The final three events take place tomorrow beginning at 11 a.m.
First-year
Eliza Cardwell finished ninth in the women's 60m hurdles, clocking in at 8.82 seconds.

Sophia Wolmer was 19th in the 5000m with a time of 18:09.04.
Two Amherst first-years are in action as the championships conclude tomorrow (Saturday, March 12) with
Julia Zacher competing in the women's high jump at 2 p.m. and
Sidnie Kulik racing in the women's 3000m at 4:30 p.m.
