Losses to #12 Tufts, #1 Harvard snap #10 Mammoths win streak

The Amherst College wmen's squash teams dropped a pair of matches at 12th-ranked Tufts and top-ranked Harvard on a swing through the Boston area on Sunday. The Mammoths fell to the Jumbos, 8-1, in the morning at the Tufts Squash Center in Medford, then went on to Boston for an afternoon clash that the Crimson won in a 9-0 sweep at the Murr Center.

The Mammoths (8-3), ranked 10th in the nation in the latest CSA rankings, got their lone win of the day from sophomore Callie DeLalio, who was a 3-0 winner at the No. 3 spot against Tufts' Sanjana Vissapragada. The defending national champion Crimson (9-0) won every game in posting their third sweep of the season in their ninth straight win.

Amherst is back in action this weekend to compete for the Little Three Championship with matches at 13th-ranked Williams on Friday and 24th-ranked Wesleyan on Saturday.
