AMHERST, MA –The National Soccer Coaches Association of America named Amherst senior co-captain Mike Wohl (Northampton, MA) to the adidas/NSCAA All-America Second Team this afternoon. The honor marks the first time that Wohl has been recognized as an All-American  by the NSCAA, after he was named to their All-Region team his last three seasons.

Wohl finished his illustrious career at Amherst with 67 career points on 29 goals and nine assists. Along with being a captain during his senior season, Wohl has been an impact player at Amherst for four seasons, scoring two game-winning goals in each of his four years.

Wohl was also named by D3Kicks.com as a Third-Team All-New England honoree and a three-time First-Team All-NESCAC selection. He was the second leading scorer for the Lord Jeffs this season, racking up 16 points on six goals and four assists, after starting the season injured.

Wohl is also a standout in the classroom, and was named to the NESCAC All-Academic squad alongside nine of his teammates.
