AMHERST, MA - The 11th ranked Amherst College women's squash team improved to 5-4 with a 9-0 win over visiting Middlebury College in the opening round of the Amherst Invitational Tournament on Friday. Jeff junior Liz Martin (Baltimore, MD) provided the most dominating performance, a shutout victory over Colby's Eliza Funston. 

Amherst will play two tournament matches on Saturday, a 10 a.m. tilt against Mount Holyoke College and a 1 p.m. match against Wesleyan University.
