AMHERST, Massachusetts -- Amherst received 17 points from junior guard Patrick Mulvey (Rye, NH) and five three-pointers (15 points) from Erik Kelly (Staples, MN) in a 80-60 trouncing of the visiting Thoroughbreds of Skidmore College. The Jeffs hit 11 three-pointers in the game and held Skidmore to just 26 first-half points. Amherst junior forward Chris Smith (Swarthmore, PA) pulled down a game and season high 16 rebounds as the Jeffs dominated the boards 60-34. The win improves the Lord Jeffs record to 6-2 as they begin a four-game road swing that begins Saturday at Wheaton College.
