Rick Schulman comes to Amherst from Darien High School (CT) where he worked under coaching legend Jeff Brameier. Schulman led the freshman team to a record of 56 wins and 6 losses while at Darien. He coached and developed multiple high school All-Americans and student-athletes who went on to play at Harvard, Georgetown, Loyola, Villanova, Colgate, Lafayette, Navy and others  Schulman currently coaches club lacrosse for Express North where his 7th grade team is ranked 11th in the country.

Schulman attended Endicott College where he played short-stick defensive midfield. In high school, Schulman was a three-sport captain (football, hockey, lacrosse) at The Harvey School where he holds the school record for career goals in ice hockey with 106.
