Before Amherst: 

  • Played two years of varsity ice hockey at Taft.

  • Also competed for Taft’s varsity crew team for one year. 

  • Previously played one year of varsity ice hockey at Mount Carmel High School.

  • Played club ice hockey for several teams, including the New England Nordiques, the Boston Jr. Bruins, the Cape Cod Seahawks, the Valley Jr. Warriors, the Stouffville Spirit, and the Toronto Patriots.

  • Parents are Cynthia and William McLean.

  • Has one sibling, Charlie.

  • Father also played ice hockey for Amherst.

  • Mother played golf at Amherst.
