    Assistant Coach, Men's Ice Hockey

Connor Sundquist is entering his first season as an Assistant Coach for the Men’s Ice Hockey team after joining the team's staff in the fall of 2024.

Sundquist comes to Amherst after playing four years of NESCAC hockey at local foe Trinity College, where he graduated in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Urban Studies. In three seasons as a forward for the Bantams, the South Glastonbury, Conn. native recorded two goals and two assists in 26 games, and was elected a captain of the squad for his senior season. Sundquist was the team’s representative to Trinity’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee and highly involved in the team’s annual Pink in the Rink fundraisers for metastatic breast cancer research. 

Before his time with the Bantams, Sundquist played three seasons of Junior League Hockey in Sioux City, Iowa, Salmon Arm, B.C., and Surrey, B.C., and was elected as an assistant captain for both Salmon Arm and Surrey.
