Amherst College Athletics

MaLeik Gatewood joined the Mammoths in the Spring of 2023 as the new defensive backs coach for the Amherst football team. 

Gatewood is a former student-athlete at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he played football. He recently graduated in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in sport and recreation management. He also served as a defensive graduate assistant for the University of Tennessee. Gatewood also interned with The New York Football Giants as a Defensive Assistant/ Strength and Conditioning Intern.
