Hudson Alexander begins his first season as the Running Backs & Tight Ends Coach at Amherst College and is the youngest full-time coach in the NESCAC.

Alexander arrives at Amherst after an impressive stint at Norfolk State University where he helped accumulate the largest signing class in the MEAC in 2023. 

During his time at Norfolk State, Alexander was an offensive quality control coach, working with the quarterbacks, wide receivers, and tight ends. He helped the quarterback room to the most explosive statistical game of the season by any team in the conference in 2022 vs. South Carolina State with a six-touchdown performance. Alexander was promoted to Video Coordinator during his tenure at Norfolk State.

Prior to Norfolk State, Alexander joined the Hampton University football team as a Graduate Transfer athlete.

Alexander was a quarterback and tight end at Morehouse College. Alexander was a part of the best start in school history in 2018 (6-0). Alexander made the SIAC All-Academic list 3x during his matriculation. During his time at Morehouse, Alexander was the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Community Engagement Chair.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Alexander served as an Assistant Quarterback Trainer for Austyn Carta-Samuels (Former Mizzou QB Coach) and LockedIn QB, Inc. 

Alexander hails from Stanford, California located in the Bay Area. Alexander graduated from Morehouse College with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.Â
