Fucillo returns to Amherst for a fourth season, and third consecutive, after spending the 2013 season at WPI as the Quarterbacks Coach and Pass Game Coordinator. Under his guidance, WPI's quarterbacks threw 50% more touchdown passes than the previous year and rushed for 338 more yards while tripling their total rushing touchdowns. He was promoted to Offensive Coordinator following the end of the season and served in that position for the spring before returning to Amherst in 2014. This fall he will act as Quarterbacks Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Purple & White once again.

During his previous stint with Amherst in 2012, Fucillo worked with the running backs and helped guide the team to the third-best rushing attack in the NESCAC. As a unit, they amassed 1,528 yards averaging 191.0 per game.

A two-time captain and quarterback at NESCAC rival Tufts University, Fucillo put together a remarkable senior season, setting program records for yards (2,475), completions (215), touchdowns (16) and total offense (2,598). Receiving the 2010 Gridiron Club of Boston Gold Helmet Award for a record-breaking performance against Amherst in which he threw for 503 yards and three touchdowns while running for two others, he graduated as the Jumbos' highest rated passer. Continuing his career overseas, he played professionally for the Aalborg 89ers of the Danish National League before returning home to serve as an assistant football coach at Stonehill College, working with the Skyhawks' tight ends and fullbacks.
