Kyle Bonicki enters his 4th year as an assistant coach and his 2nd as recruiting coordinator at Amherst. Bonicki joined the Amherst coaching staff after playing two years of professional baseball at the Independent level for the Utica Unicorns of the USPBL and the Bakersfield Train Robbers of the Pecos League. He played his college baseball at Clark University under head coach JP Pyne, where he holds several offensive records. 

Bonicki was a 3-time 1st-Team All-NEWMAC selection at shortstop, along with being the first All-American in program history and the 2017 D3 New England Player of the Year. He graduated from Clark with his bachelor's degree in business management in 2017 and earned his MBA in management with a marketing concentration in 2018. During the fall of 2018 and spring of 2019, Bonicki served as a graduate assistant coach at Clark, after being a 2-year captain as a player. 

At Amherst, coach Bonicki works with the infielders, hitters, and baserunners. He leads the recruiting efforts in evaluating prospective student-athletes throughout the recruiting process.Â
