BRUNSWICK, ME — The #10 Amherst College women's squash team closed out its Maine trip with another convincing 8–1 victory over #18 Bowdoin College, showing a lot of confidence on all courts. Amherst only lost sets on courts #3 and #8, winning in straight sets in the rest of the matches. The only loss for the Mammoths came on court #3, where Alexandra Brown had to unfortunately retire in the fourth set.
With the victory on Thursday night, Amherst now holds an overall record of 10-1, and remains undefeated in the NESCAC with a 6-0 record. The win against Bowdoin extends Amherst's winning streak to five, which they are looking to keep up next week against Little 3 rivals Williams College Ephs and Wesleyan University Cardinals.

At #8 singles, Clara Dawn had the longest match of the night, fighting from two sets down to defeat Bowdoin's Cory Spiegel in a marathon five-setter, 3–2 (9–11, 4–11, 11–9, 11–6, 11–8) in 41 minutes.

At #5 singles, Katherine Grissom had the quickest win of the night, cruising past Bowdoin's Clare Collins 3–0 (11–8, 11–5, 11–3) in just 18 minutes.
