AMHERST, Mass. – Sophomore Hannah Stephenson led the Amherst College women's cross country team by winning the individual Little 3 championship when the Mammoths hosted the Little Three Championship on their home course for the first time on Saturday.
This ends the Mammoth's Little Three Championship streak of three years.
Amherst totaled 35 points to finish second behind champion Williams (25) and ahead of Wesleyan (81). Stephenson crossed the line in 14:48.96 for second place overall, followed closely by first-year Ani Bailin in second and junior Flora Biro in 9th. Senior Katie Greenwald (15:34.40) and sophomore Audrey Seeger (15:49.97) rounded out Amherst's scoring five.
Amherst will race again on Saturday, September 20, at the Cardinal Invitational in Middletown, CT.
