GREENSBORO, N.C. – Senior
Sydney Bluestein earned First Team All-America honors with a fourth-place finish in one-meter diving to highlight action for the Amherst College women's swimming and diving team on the second day of the NCAA Division III Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center on Thursday.
Bluestein tallied a score of 433.75 for her sixth career All-America finish. She has been especially dominant on the one-meter board, earning First Team All-America honors in all four of her seasons at Amherst as one of the top eight finishers in the event, including a national championship in 2023.
In other action in the pool, the Mammoths finished 21st in the 200-yard freestyle relay as sophomores

Paige Arnold, first-year
Sydney Thompson and senior
Katherine Hoffman teamed up to touch in 1:34.96.
Sophomore
Maeve Kelley finished the 200-yard freestyle in a personal-best 1:51.42 in the preliminaries to place 21st overall.
Arnold also tied for 27th in the 100-yard butterfly, posting a time of 55.98 seconds in the preliminaries.
At the halfway point of the meet, the Mammoths have tallied 21 points to rank 16th in the team standings. NYU leads the meet with 242 points.
The national championship meet runs through Saturday (March 22) with preliminaries beginning at 10 a.m. each day with the finals session kicking off at 6 p.m. each evening. On Friday, Kelley is set to swim the 200-yard butterfly, senior
