SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Senior Sydney Bluestein of the Amherst College women's swimming and diving team finished third in three-meter diving while junior Donna Zhang placed ninth on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Northeast/North Regional at Springfield College.

Bluestein posted an 11-dive score of 474.40 to claim third place, finishing 15.9 points behind champion Issara Schmidt of NYU. Zhang tallied a total score of 437.85 to place ninth in the field of 30 divers.

Bluestein will join 14 other Mammoths at the NCAA Division III National Championships, which run from March 19–22 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
