HADLEY, Mass. -- Amherst College first year goalkeeper Vincent Lamberti (Los Angeles, CA) has been chosen as the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week for play ending Sunday, November 30. 

 Lamberti made two starts and went 1-0-1 last week, stopping 51 of 52 shots he faced against two nationally-ranked opponents. In a 3-0 win over No. 9 Geneseo, the rookie stopped all 25 shots he faced to record his second career shutout. On Sunday at No. 11 Babson, he stopped 26 of 27 shots faced in a 1-1 tie (shootout loss). 

He is currently second in the conference with a 1.10 goals against average and second in save percentage at .954.
