AMHERST, MASS – Paige Arnold earned three first-place finishes for the Mammoths as they took down the Wesleyan Cardinals on Sunday, winning with a score of 204-94.
The Mammoths will return to the pool Friday, December 5th, when they head to New London, Connecticut, for a two-day meet against Connecticut College and Coast Guard Academy.

Arnold dominated in today's meet, earning three victories on the day. Arnold swept the 100 Butterfly with a 58.05 finish. She returned later in the meet to claim the 100 free with a 53.71, her fellow teammate Ava Insteness finishing right behind with a time of 54.71. Arnold picked up her final victory of the meet in the 100 IM, finishing with a time of 59.67.

The Mammoths dominated in the 200 Freestyle, with Penny Lazar claiming first place (1:58.98), Katy Niziol finishing 2nd (2:00.51), and Emory Tudor picking up a fourth-place finish (2:02.13).

First-years Hope Taylor and Insteness picked up a 1-2 finish in the 400 IM. Taylor swam an impressive time of 4:40.35, and Insteness was right behind, finishing in 4:44.57.

The Mammoths also showed their dominance in the 100 Backstroke, with the Mammoths picking up the top three swims in the event. Katy Niziol finished first with a time of 1:01.15. Taylor was right behind with a time of 1:01.63, and Taryn Veronda picked up third (1:01.94).

The Mammoths also swept the diving events on the day. Brooke Ronan picked up first place in the 1 meter, with Donna Zhang and Zoluntu Radebe finishing 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Zhang and Ronan finished 1st and 2nd in the 3 meter, as well.

The Mammoths also had strong relay swims, finishing 2nd and 3rd in the 200 Freestyle relay, and earning 1st, 3rd, and 4th place finishes in the 400 Freestyle relay.
