AMHERST, Mass. - Eight members of the Amherst College football team were announced as 2024 Academic All-District® Football Team members today, as selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA). The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must carry a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale). He must also have participated in at least 90 percent of the team's games or started at least two-thirds of the team's contests. Teams are limited to eight nominees per year.
