#13 Mammoths dispatch #21 Dickinson, 7-2

AMHERST, Mass. --The 13th-ranked Amherst College women's squash team swung back into action Friday, opening 2024 with a 7-2 victory over Dicksinon at the Davenport Squash Courts. 

The Mammoths improved to 4-3 on the season. They will host Franklin & Marshall University Saturday at 12 p.m.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:

* Quincy Cline sparked the victory with a thrilling five-game match at three singles. After dropping the first game, Cline won the next two, 11-7, 11-9. She dropped the fourth game, but rebounded for a resounding 11-4 win in game five to take the match. At five singles, Morgan Chaudhary was as consistent as one could get, sweeping her opponent 11-6, 11-6, 11-6. At eight, Suraiya Khan allowed the fewest opponent points of the night, playing to an 11-2, 11-6, 11-3 sweep.
