GAME HIGHLIGHTS
  • Trinity's Nicholas Siffringer and Christian Hayes passed their way up the left side of the ice out of the Bantam's zone, where Alexandar Mozian then took on the goaltender one-on-one, flicking the puck into the net at 2:45 into the opening period.
  • At 3:18 into the second period, Casey Rhodes skated onto the puck by the left circle after it deflected off of the boards from a Trinity clear and took the shot to solidify a two-goal lead.
  • Devan Tongue laid out the puck for Spencer Korona to carry up in center ice, where he then saw Richard Boysen to his right. Boysen ripped the initial shot, but Tongue was stationed to score off of the rebound just outside the crease with 7:40 remaining in the second period.
  • Trinity's offensive pressure earned them their fourth goal of the evening on a power play opportunity. Back-to-back passing between Ned Blanchard and Kyle Tomaso allowed the Bantams to capitalize with just 52 seconds left in the second period with McInnis making the final touch by the crease.
  • The Mammoths broke the shutout with 7:08 left in the final period, with Guest intercepting a pass in the Bantams' zone and immediately fired the puck into goal.
  • After a battle for the puck against the boards, Boysen chased it down to Amherst's empty net, scoring the fifth and final goal of the evening with 54 seconds remaining.
