WATERVILLE, Maine -- The 13th-ranked Amherst women's squash team continued its road trip with a second straight victory Friday as it defeated 25th-raned Colby College, 6-3.
The Mammoths improved ot 7-6 overall. The road trip continues Saturday for the Mammoths when they take on Bates at 4 p.m.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:
* Amherst posted five 3-0 wins to earn the victory,
Alex Brown at 2, Isabelle Tinley-Sandberg at 6,
Maggie Pearson at 7,
Suraiya Khan Suri at 8 and
Blair Englert at 9. Englert allowed the fewest games to her opponent, sweeping to an 11-3, 11-2, 11-1 victory.
Morgan Chaudhary had the most dramatic win on the day, edging Karla Domingues in a five-set thriller, 11-6, 11-13, 11-8, 8-11 and finally 11-6.
