HADLEY, MA -- Amherst College senior Abby Schwartz (Alpharetta, GA) has been chosen as the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for play ending Sunday, September 24th.

Schwartz scored four goals in three NESCAC contests as the Mammoths went 3-0-0 last week. The senior scored twice in a 4-3 win over Connecticut College on Tuesday, scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Bates on Saturday, and added another marker in a 3-0 win over Colby on Sunday. Schwartz ranks third in the NESCAC with 12 points and is tied for the league lead in assists with four. 

The Mammoths (7-0-1) have won six straight games. They will host Williams Saturday at 12 p.m.
