Mooney and Sosa Earn All-NESCAC Nods

Hadley, MA – The NESCAC recognized two members of the Amherst women's lacrosse team for their efforts this season. Senior Colleen Mooney earned First Team All-NESCAC honors while first-year Clara Sosa garnered Second Team All-NESCAC honors.

Mooney anchored the Mammoth's defense this season, leading the pack with 59 draw controls, 13 caused turnovers and 19 ground balls. She was a Second Team All-NESCAC selection is 2022.

Sosa exploded onto the collegiate lacrosse scene, scoring at least one goal in every game she played. She racked up 39 goals this season, and added 11 assists for a total of 50 points.

Ending the season ranked 14th in the nation, the Mammoths were 9-6 overall.
