AMHERST, Mass. – The Amherst College women's tennis team swept all 9 matches in their contest against the Trinity College Bantams on Wednesday, in another match on the outdoor courts at Amherst's campus.
Amherst were dominant from the start, winning all of the 3 doubles matches. The Mammoths then followed these wins up with strong singles performances at each of the 6 positions.
Julia Lendel '24,
Calista Sha '23,
Deliala Friedman '25, and
Kaya Amin '24 all won very comfortably at the #2, #3, #4, and #6 spots respectively, with
Kaya Amin ceasing to drop a single game in her match. Amherst were high on confidence after upsetting #4 Emory last Friday, and looked more adept at dealing with windy conditions.

Amherst is now 8-5 for the season, and is on a 3-match win streak. In their next match, the team will take on the Hamilton College Continentals at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 23
rd. This will take place on Amherst's outdoor courts (weather-permitting), and will be the Mammoth's last home match of the regular season.
