AMHERST, Mass. -- Jack Boyle's two-run, one-out single in the bottom of the ninth Friday capped a 10-run final-inning rally for the Amherst College baseball team and gave it a 13-12 win over Trinity College in the annual Pride Game at Memorial Field.

Amherst earned its first home win of the season and improved to 7-13-1 with the historic rally. Trinity fell to 10-11 overall with the loss. The two teams will play a doubleheader at Memorial Field Saturday, with the game time of game one beginning at 10 a.m.
