LUDLOW, Mass. – The Amherst College men's tennis team doubled their 1-0 record in the NESCAC with a 6-3 win over the #26 Wesleyan Cardinals on Sundayat the Ludlow Tennis Club. This was the Mammoth's 2^nd home match of the season, after they shutout the Connecticut College Camels 9-0 on the preceding day.
 
The Mammoths were 2-1 up after the 3 doubles matches, with wins from Damien Ruparel '22 and Sujit Chepuri '25 and Micah Elias '24 and Kobe Ellenbogen '25 at the #1 and #3 spots respectively. The team wearing Purple and White then overcame the all-red Cardinals in 4 of the 6 singles matches.

The Mammoths have a week to continue trying to improve, as they prepare for an upcoming away trip. Amherst take on two more NESCAC teams next weekend with an visit to Maine. #7 Bowdoin will host the Mammoths on Saturday, April 2^nd, before the Mammoths travel to #33 Colby in Waterville, ME on the Sunday.
