HADLEY, Mass. -- Amherst College junior forward Quinton Fox (Fonthill, ON.) was selected as the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Hockey Player of the Week for play ending Sunday, December 4th.

Fox scored two goals and an assist in a 2-0-0 week for the Mammoths. In a 3-2 overtime win against Wesleyan, Fox scored the tying goal with 1:29 left in the third period. In a 3-2 win over Trinity, Fox's second-period goal gave Amherst a 2-1 lead and he assisted on a third-period goal that pushed the Mammoths' lead to 3-1.

The Mammoths are off to a 4-1-1 start this season. Fox is tied for second on the team with 7 points (3 goals, 4 assists.).
