AMHERST, Mass. — The #13 Amherst College women's squash team fell just short in their season opener versus the #14 William Smith Herons, 5-4, on Saturday afternoon on the Davenport Squash Courts. 

Amherst will look to earn their first win of the season when they play against the #24 Hamilton College Continentals (who have a 0-2 record so far this season) at the Little Squash Center in Clinton, NY, on Saturday, December 3. 

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

First-years Alex Brown and Morgan Chaudhary wanted their first wins of their careers at the #2 and #7 spots respectively. 
Junior Margaret Pearson was the only Mammoth to win in straight sets in one of the shortest of the nine matches.
