SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – First-year diver Sydney Bluestein qualified for the NCAA Diving Regionals as the Amherst College women's swimming and diving team posted a 178-105 victory at local rival Springfield College in the final dual meet of the season on Sunday afternoon at Linkletter Natatorium. Senior captain Marie Fagan and first-year Allison LaCroix each won two individual races after swimming on the victorious 200 medley relay team.

The Mammoths (6-1), ranked 21st in the nation and 7th in the Northeast-North Region in the latest CSCAA Division III polls, complete the dual meet season with a winning record for the 35th straight season and kept the Pride (5-9) winless this season against NESCAC opponents.

Amherst will next compete in the NESCAC Championships from Feb. 10–13 at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. The Mammoths finished third the last time the championship was held in 2020 and will be seeking their first conference title since 2013.
