HARTFORD, CT - The Amherst College volleyball team improved to 19-3 overall and 5-1 in conference play with a trio of NESCAC wins over Wesleyan University, Connecticut College and host Trinity College on Friday and Saturday.

The Jeffs downed Wesleyan 3-1 (30-23, 30-18, 23-30, 30-14) on Friday night behind 14 kills from junior Nicole Davidson (Los Angeles, CA), 13 from senior Lauren Wong (San Francisco, CA) and 11 from rookie Kristin Quinn (Los Angeles, CA). Junior setter Annie Hoeksma (Los Angeles, CA) handed out a match-high 43 assists.

Amherst then made quick work of both Conn. (30-12, 30-19, 30-13) and Trinity (30-19, 30-15, 30-15) on Saturday, as Hoeksma combined for 46 assists, 11 kills and 10 digs.

Amherst returns to action Tuesday at 7 p.m. against visiting non-league foe Westfield State College.
