NESCAC Player of the Week

Chris Addesa

Senior- G -Andover, MA

 
Addesa has been a big reason the Lord Jeffs have raced out to a 4-0 start this winter. In his first three games of the season, Addesa played 185 minutes, allowing just four goals (1.29 GAA) and making 52 saves (.928 save percentage). In his last two outings he blanked Babson, 7-0, before holding Conn College to just one goal in the first round of the Spurrier Classic. Addesa was also named to the ECAC/Stall and Dean Honor Roll (week #1) for his stellar play in the net last week.


NESCAC Rookie of the Week

Greg Carr

Freshman- F -Hanover, MA

 
In his first collegiate game, Carr scored the game-winning goal in overtime to beat UMass-Boston and then tallied a goal and an assist in a 7-0 rout of Babson. Carr added another goal in the Lord Jeffs victory over Conn College in the Spurrier Classic, which Amherst won. Carr was also named the ECAC East/Louisville Rookie of the Week (week #1) for his outstanding offensive efforts during opening weekend.

 Senior co-captain Rob MacDonald (Walpole, MA) was also named to the ECAC/Stall and Dean Honor Roll (week #1). During the weekend, MacDonald assisted on three goals and scored a goal of his own.
 
 Senior co-captain Charlie Blyth (Beaconsfield, Quebec) was named to the ECAC/Stall and Dean Honor Roll (week #2) for his dominant play in the Spurrier Tournament. Blyth notched three assists and two goals in just two games as the Jeffs went a perfect 2-0 and took the tournament trophy.
