Rye Jaran enters his first season with the Amherst Men's Soccer program in 2026 after joining the staff in the spring of 2026. His first collegiate coaching opportunity came as an assistant coach at Emmanuel College, where he took over recruiting and conducted scouts and film reviews. He was the sole member on staff during a coaching transition, and continued recruiting, communicating with staff, and holding team events. Two players were named to the GNAC All-Conference team during his time there.
Jaran began his coaching career in August 2025 at Swedish professional club, Djurgardens IF, where he completed a two-month mentorship program. He worked with all age groups in their academy, and gained experience both on the field and on the administrative side.
Jaran earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Connecticut College in 2024. During his time at Connecticut College, Jaran competed for the Men’s Soccer team, earning a National Championship in 2021, and a NESCAC Championship in 2024.
Jaran is a Downingtown, PA native.
