Amherst College Athletics

Lauren Roy joined the Amherst track and field coaching staff as an assistant coach in sprints and hurdles in the fall of 2025. 

Roy competed in the long and triple jump at Lehigh University from 2021-2025, where she contributed top-10 finishes at the Patriot League Championships in the triple jump. Roy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lehigh and a minor in public health. She will begin her M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies in 2026. 

Prior to coaching at Amherst, Roy coached middle and high school athletes alongside her former high school coach at Granby Memorial High School, where she was a multi-time State Champion in the long jump. She also was the long and triple jump group captain during her collegiate career at Lehigh.
