Amherst College Athletics

Alan Dubrovsky enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Amherst Women’s Tennis program. Upon graduating from Hobart College in 2020 with a degree in Geoscience, he interned with the FAA in the aviation weather division. He then transitioned to teaching tennis at the Westboro Tennis Club where he worked with all ages and levels but specialized in high-performance junior development. 

At Hobart, Alan attained All-American Status in both singles and doubles, a top 5 national ranking in singles, and a top 10 national ranking in doubles. He holds the school record for most wins in a season and second most singles wins of all time. His senior year, Alan was named Hobart’s “Athlete of the Year”. 

In addition to coaching at Amherst, Alan coaches juniors at Westborough Club and also serves as a private coach. He also competes in tournaments a few times a year when his schedule allows. Outside of tennis, Alan enjoys outdoor activities and all things food.
